Running Stitch
Step 1 The thread is already knotted and taped on the back. All you need to do is thread the needle..
Step 2 Pull the needle up from the 1st hole then down through the 2nd hole to complete the first stitch.
Step 3 Bring the needle back up through the 3rd hole and continue this pattern until you reach the last hole.
step 4 Securing the stitch: backstitch to 4th hole and in again to last hole.
Whipstitch
Step 1 Thread the needle and tie a knot at the end of the thread.
Step 2 Push the needle up from the back through the first hole of the card until the knot hits the back of the card.
Step 3 Pull the thread over the edges of the fabric and up again at 2. Continue making these stitches until the last hole.
step 4 Secure the stitch.
Pinning Fabric
Step 1: Lay the fabric layers together on a flat table.
Step 2: Insert the sharp point of a straight pin directly into the fabric through both layers until it reaches the table.
Step 3: Guide the pin through the back of the fabric and push it out through the front.
Needle Book
Step 1 Place your fabric on a flat table.
Step 2 Position the needle straight through the fabric, then slide it and bring it back up.
